Light Motorcycle License

Take test on a motorcycle from 75cc - 125 cc
Text Box: CBT not required if Moped test passed after Dec 1st 1990Text Box: CBT not required if upgrading from one Motorcycle category to another e.g. Full A1 to Category A EntitlementText Box: Training follows. Learner must use L-plates. Cannot carry pillion passengers and may not use Motorways. Learners restricted to bikes up to 125cc. If 21+ then may use larger machines only if accompanied by approved instructor on another bike and in radio contact.Text Box: Motorcycle Theory Test. Not required if you have already passed a two-part moped test or a two part moped test for a lower category of motorcycle entitlement.Text Box: Motorcycle Practical TestText Box: Category A
Standard Motorcycle License

Test on motorcycle of 121 - 125 cc and capable of 100 kmh

Direct Access

Riders 21+ may take test on motorcycle of power output of35kW+
Text Box: PASS
Discard L-Plates – Allowed to carry pillion passenger.
Can ride any bike up to 125cc and 11kW output

Discard L-Plates – Allowed to carry pillion passenger.
Can ride bikes up to 25kW.
Weight ratio should not exceed 0.16kW/kg
